"Saturday Night Live" is bringing back the star of a popular sitcom for a second hosting gig on the late-night sketch comedy show. Deadline.com reports that Melissa McCarthy, who received raves for her first “SNL” hosting spot in October 2011, will return to host the April 6 show.

McCarthy stars in the CBS hit "Mike & Molly." She currently appears in the movie "Identify Thief" with Jason Bateman.
