NBC has pushed back the finale of "Revolution" until June, following its decision to pre-empt Monday’s episode to air a special report about the Boston Marathon bombing, reports TVLine.

An NBC spokesperson said Tuesday: "The original episode of ‘Revolution’ that was scheduled to air last night will air next week (4/22) at 10/9c and all subsequent episodes will ripple accordingly. Viewers will not miss anything in the ongoing storylines. The new season finale will now [air] one week later on Monday, June 3, at 10/9c.”

That means that the finale will air after the May sweeps ratings period ends, and after the end of the regular television season.
