Q1 2007 vs. Q1 2006

Overall ad spending fell 0.3 percent in the first quarter of 2007, according to TNS Media Intelligence. TV took a hit in both overall spending and as a share of overall media spending, although it still accounts for the bulk of ad dollars. The chart below shows the quarter-to-quarter comparison of share of spending for major advertising media.
