Higbee Gets New Role at Scripps

Scripps Networks shifted new-media executive Beth Higbee to a new post as senior VP and general manager of emerging ventures.

In the new job, she will concentrate on creating “disruptive new businesses developed organically to drive growth for Scripps,” the company said in a statement.

She will report to Ron Feinbaum, executive VP of new business development.

Ms. Higbee most recently was senior VP for Scripps Networks Interactive, focusing on the media company’s online business.
