Rather to Take Part in TVWeek Event at CTAM

Newscaster Dan Rather will take part in a keynote conversation with TelevisionWeek publisher and editorial director Chuck Ross at this year’s CTAM Summit in Washington, D.C.
TVWeek’s panel event, “HD07: The State of the Business,” takes place on Monday, July 23.
Mr. Ross will interview Mr. Rather before the panel discussion. Topics scheduled for the discussion include the unique challenges of preparing a news program in HD. The veteran CBS newscaster now anchors HDNet’s “Dan Rather Reports.”
Following the keynote conversation, the panel discussion aims to update CTAM attendees on the evolving HD marketplace. Panelists include Robert D. Jacobson, president and CEO of iN Demand Networks, Craig Moffett, VP and senior analyst of cable and satellite broadcasting, Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., and Joshua Sapan, president-CEO of Rainbow Media, Edward L. Huguez, executive VP, affiliate sales and marketing of Starz Entertainment and Lauren LoFrisco, group VP, marketing communications of Time Warner Cable.
The TVWeek event will be held at the Washington Convention Center from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free for all CTAM attendees and lunch will be served. Updated information, as well as registration, is available online at tvweek.com/hd.
