MGM HD, the high-definition channel of MGM Studios, has partnered with several cable systems to carry the network, including RCN in Chicago and Ace Communications in Minnesota.

The high-definition channel recently signed agreements with seven cable providers. The others are Antietam Cable (Hagerstown, Md.), Armstrong (Butler, Pa.), Bend Broadband (Bend, Ore.), Massillon Cable TV (Massillon, Ohio) and Millennium Telcom (Keller, Texas).

The channel, which had previously signed a deal with DirecTV for carriage, includes 1080i programming and VOD service from MGM’s library of films and programming.
