Comedy Central said it made a deal with the Weinstein Co. giving it rights to show several movies before they appear on any other ad-supported television network.
The titles in the package are “Superhero Movie,” “Fanboys” and “The Promotion.”
“We’re excited to continue our relationship with the Weinstein Co. and Bob and Harvey Weinstein, who have produced some of the most popular and long-lasting comedies over the past decade, and give our viewers the first opportunity to watch these three great films,” said David Bernath, senior VP for programming at Comedy Central, in a statement.
