iaTV Expands Reach in Southern California

Asian pop-culture network iaTV has added Cox Communications of Orange County and select Los Angeles-area Charter Communications distributors to its expanding list of carriers.

Programming on the network, which targets young Asian-American viewers, includes originals “Pancrase: Legends of Mixed Martial Arts” and “Uncle Morty's Dub Shack” in addition to classic series “Charlie's Angels,” “Fantasy Island,” “Starsky & Hutch” and “T.J. Hooker.”

“We are thrilled to have expanded our distribution in Los Angeles and our partnership with Charter,” said Michael Huh, VP of iaTV parent company ImaginAsian Entertainment. “We are confident that the network's continuous growth will be productive and celebrated as it will allow us to bring our first-rate programming to more homes in the U.S.”

iaTV will become in Orange County via Cox on Channel 475 beginning July 11. It is currently available in Southern California on the following systems:

—Charter Communications, San Gabriel Valley, Inland Empire, high desert and mountain communities, Glendale, Burbank, Long Beach, Whittier and Malibu: Channel 143
—Charter Communications, Cerritos: Channel 219
—Champion Broadband, Arcadia-Monrovia-Pasadena: Channel 196
—Time Warner Cable, Los Angeles: Channel 157
