Hello judges and Donald Trump family:
I am a Miss Universe watcher ever since I can remembber. I have seen some of the favorites this yr and according to resources both Miss Colombia and Miss Venezuela have been supported during the entire weeks which I have been looking through different websites lovin them awhole lot. Venezuela and Colombia have sent very prepared and natural beauties, and camaras love them and thats why I hope that judges consider my opinions
Last year I saw MU 2007 in Mexico and didint like the outcome during the show. I saw disrespect for Miss USA that was treated unfairly ad never saw that EVER. Now, I hope that this year the judges choose tht next winner, but I also wich everyone of these ladies luck and let the best one win

greetings!! i've been a fan of the miss universe pageant and i love watching it..my only comment is that..can you make speaking english as one of the requirements..even as a minor requirement only to be fair with the english speaking countries..especially when it comes to the question and answer only...as we observe most winners are those whose answers are translated..no offense,im just saying my OWN opinion...i hope that this year's pageant will be good and just..
these are my own top 10
mexico
venezuela
philippines
kazakhstan
peru
albania
india

Making English a standard requirement? How much more English domination do we want? All the judges are Americans, White most of the time. How about making Spanish or Chinese, or Hindi, or Japanese, or other language a standard requirement? If English becomes the standard requirement then the whole beauty contest is a joke!!! You better off call it Miss English Speaker!!!! Making English a standard requirement would not be fair to those who don't speak English. This is why every contestant is free to have their own translator!!!
Why do all the judges have to be Americans all the time? Why can't the judges be a collection of international celebrities, model, stars, etc from different countries and cultures? The judges need to be from different countries, continents, cultures, ethnicities, age, and gender so their views and pick of the Miss Universe reflect a broader and more universal view of what people around the world consider beautiful.
In the past, contestants from Latin America (especially Puerto Rico) always won because the judges were from Hollywood or other part of the United States, and they had this weird and creepy fetish for Latin women, especially Puertoriquenas. Last year 2007, Miss Japan won the title because the judges represent a more diverse taste of beauty. The judges were white, latino, asians, black. It was a fair victory for Miss Japan. This year 2008 will not be a fair contest because the judges are mostly white, and they see beauty from a white perspective. How unfair to the black and Asian contestants!!!

Hello I agree that the crown should go to the 1 that has the public and expert opinions about the qualification for the crown.
It should b for Natural beauty and intelligence, and yes: Multi-lingual is not a requirement for takign crown, but helps a great deal especially when the translaters come into play.
Multi-lingual is a gift 4 me and each one of these ladies want to persue a career as journalism, or communications then it shold be a qualification.
Now, my favorites are still the same 2 me no matter, and are better traines and prepared to take crown to their home lands;like
1 Miss Colombia- She is a natural beauty and cameras seem to like and some panelists are supporting her this year, she deserves to win th last time Colombia took a crown was 30 years ago when Beauty, attitude, and natural were the only requirements to become MU.
2 Miss Venezuela This year Venezuela has sent the perfect candidates to win, or top5, treu they trained to win, but always won b4,
3Miss Mexico- She is very sexy, appealing to photographers, plus deserves top 5 for her win in the Swimsuit competition.
4- Miss India- She is naturally and well prepared form alll regions to becomes top 5 as well,
Very BEAUTIFUL AND GLAMEROUS.
5-Miss USA- has the looks, body, and skills to classify top 10 or top 5.
Well, I also wish and congratulate all theese 80 contestance who work so hard these few weeks.

I really hope that this year Miss universe peagent will get to choose a winner from Europe or Central America. It has been a while since a country form Europe has one the Miss Universe crown. I don't think a country from Central America has ever won a crown. I would hate to see Venezuela, Puerto Rico or USA win again, I think these countries have already won plenty of crowns. I think Panama has a very strong candidate as well as Miss Spain.

i simply dont understand whats going on....
Miss INDIA, Simran Kaur Mundi makes it to the top ten in the national costume round and on the pyramid on globalbeauties.com she is placed at the 8th position.....dats fine. Then comes the Charming Ao Dai contest where india is one among the top 5 and then she is put back on the 9th position on the pyramid.......
And then comes the great Queen of vinpearl contest(the swimsuit contest) and yet again Indis is one among the top5,and this time for her special achievement she gets pushed down to yhe 11th position on that pyramid, WAT THE F***
I am forced to say this but i think the MU organisation is beggining to get racial....

People...this is a contest! Some of these girls are very strong candidates...some are not. Even when you might not like it or agree Venezuela, Puerto Rico and USA are very strong candidates and these countries have won previous titles for the same reason. It is not about a country deserving the title more than other. Otherwise Miss Nepal should compete and win for her country be oppressed by China. Anything could happen...Last year favorite was Miss Korea, and she blew the last question with her answer... Don't forget that the interview still counts for their overall score.
All these girls are extraordinary. Most of them have worked hard and competed just to be there...they know the drill, only one will be crowned.

I hope that this time the jury knows well to select the new queen .. truth that the Japanese were the most ugly that was in mexico last year. or as they say here by the blondes always so eager to support Latinas especially the Mexican guapisima to me that this is the best, of venezuela is nothing more than a girl from green eyes and hair dyed not have ... nothing naturally hope that the jury knows me well choose to support Mexicans.

most of the latina candidates underwent cosmetic surgery, beauties from Asia are natural beauties. I like India, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia. I hope one of them wins the Miss Universe Crown.

Miss USA would have been in the top 5, if only she had worn a more flashy gown like the rest.
She was too focused on showing off her figure in her gown selection.

jonifer - you are so stupid!
Make English a requirement for the English SPEAKING COUNTRIES? You know how many other countries are out there that speak different languages, why must we cater to the "ENGLISH SPEAKING" countries?
That is SO self centered!!! How about NO. This is Miss UNIVERSE. Not USA, or ENGLAND or anything in specific! English doesn't have to be forced and required for a contest like this. LET THE GIRLS SPEAK IN THEIR NATIVE TONGUE! They are representing their own countries anyhow RIGHT?!
Just think about what you said and why I would get so mad about it! This is why so many countries hate Americans!! I don't know if you're from the US - but this stupid mentality is what ruins our reputations. That's right - I AM FROM AMERICA, TOO.
It's Miss Universal, ok? How about you learn a third or fourth language and just shut up!
