Metro Goldwyn Mayer’s high-def movie channel, MGM HD, has added a slew of new names to its executive roster as the network expands its cable carriage deals.
Gracelyn Brown joins the company as vice president of programming, overseeing programming and scheduling . She had been programming director for KTLA-TV in Los Angeles.
Bernard Nguyen-Sovan is the new programming manager, helping to create special events and themes for the networks. Mr. Nguyen-Sovan most recently was traffic manager for the World Champion Sports Network.
Doug Chalfant has been added as MGM HD’s executive creative director, working on creating and maintaining the network’s on-air brand. He most recently was director of creative marketing solutions for Reelz Channel.
Mark Zelenz has been named executive director of affiliate sales for the network, where he will be responsible for MGM HD distribution to East Coast cable and satellite affiliates.
Nicole Mulholland rounds out the recent additions as an account executive in advertiser sales. She had been at Yahoo as an account manager in advertising sales.

MGM HD offers viewers films from the studio’s library of more than 4,100 titles through the studio’s wholly owned linear network, in addition to its on-demand arm, MGM HD VOD.
