CBS Leads Nominees for Financial Reporting Emmys

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has announced nominees for the sixth annual Emmy Awards for Business and Financial Reporting.
CBS earned the most nominations with 12, trailed by CNBC with six and ABC with four nominations.
Other nominees include programming seen on public broadcasting stations, Bloomberg Television, HDNET, NBC, CNN, Minyanville.com and Newsweek.com.
The Lifetime Achievement Award for Business & Financial Reporting will be presented to David Schlesinger, editor-in-chief of Reuters News.
Nominations also were announced for the Emmy Awards for Promotional Announcements, recognizing promotional announcements in news and documentary programming aired in 2007. Programming seen on public broadcasting stations topped the list with three nominations.
The awards will be presented Dec. 2 at a reception and luncheon at the Rainbow Room in New York City.
