Ludacris, 50 Cent Join NBC’s Daly for New Year’s Eve

Ludacris, 50 Cent and Katy Perry will perform on “NBC’s New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly” on Dec. 31 from New York City.

The fifth annual celebration will be broadcast for the first time with one hour airing in prime time from 10-11 p.m. ET and one hour airing in HD during late night at 11:35 p.m.

Carson Daly will be joined by Saturday “Today” co-anchor Amy Robach in Times Square and NBC News correspondent Luke Russert.

“NBC’s Carson Daly New Year’s Eve tradition has increased its rating each year it’s been on the air,” Rick Ludwin, executive VP of late night and prime time series, said in a statement. “Viewers clearly like what Carson is doing. The additional hour in prime time makes our audience even more a part of this New Year’s Eve party."
