BET, PlayPhone Partner for Mobile Service

BET Networks and PlayPhone have teamed for a new BET Mobile destination.

The PlayPhone-powered service allows users to download new and exclusive BET mobile content directly to their cell phones.

The content can be accessed on the Web, WAP deck or from more than 2,000 wireless devices across North American wireless networks.

“Mobilizing BET’s hit programming and other related content for download purchasing is another way for us to deepen our digital connection to consumers,” Martez Moore, senior VP of strategy and business development for BET Networks, said in a statement. “In PlayPhone we found a dynamic mobile services partner who had a demonstrated understanding of how to extend the BET experience into the mobile world in ways that resonate with our audience.”
