Regis and Kelly Head to Miami

“Live With Regis and Kelly” is beach-bound. The show will air live from Miami May 5-8, distributor Disney-ABC Domestic Television announced today.

Taping poolside at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, guests scheduled to appear include “Brothers and Sisters” star Rob Lowe, “Grey’s Anatomy’s” Eric Dane and Rick Springfield.

“Live” just returned from an out-of-studio remote broadcast in New Orleans during April 6-9, the first time the show had been in the city since 2007.

Generally in third place out of syndicated talk shows, “Live” declined 4% in household ratings from last March during the most recent sweeps period, posting a 2.6 average. “Live’s” Miami visit will occur during the first full week of May sweeps. The May sweeps rating period begins April 30.
