The irony of this video is its only achievement. "What does the business need, how close are we to standards and why are they important in this new medium?" are the questions. Sadly but predictably, this video answers none of them. One thing those of us in on-line video know is "best practices" means not imitating bad TV news (I know, redundant).

The more I read and see and hear, the more I am absolutely convinced that "traditional" media are not dead or dying... everyone (particularly the online digirati) just "think" they are.
The ultimate consequences of this "thinking" have yet to be felt.
When they are, the you know what is going to hit the fan.
