A veteran cast member on CBS’s top-rated procedural drama “NCIS” has come to terms on a deal that will keep him around through the upcoming tenth season, TVLine.com reports.

Rocky Carroll, who has been a part of the show since season five, plays agency director Leon Vance. He also has a recurring role in the spinoff “NCIS: Los Angeles.”

Carroll’s signing comes after David McCallum renewed his deal to continue playing Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard. Still to be signed, but in active talks, are regulars Michael Weatherly (DiNozzo), Pauley Perrette (Abby) and Sean Murray (Tim).

Showrunner Gary Glassberg told the website he is confident those three deals "will work out."

The tenth season premieres this fall.
