NBC and Fox have each bought a project from former Paramount Pictures executive and "Twilight" producer Karen Rosenfelt, reports Deadline.com.
The NBC project is a drama called "Town and Gown," written and executive produced by Tom Garrigus of "Everwood." The project is about a former football star and outgoing senator who is tapped as president of his alma mater, a state university, the story notes.
The Fox project is a comedy called "Best Man," written and executive produced by Paul Ruehl of "The Hard Times of RJ Berger." It focuses on a longtime bachelor who helps his best friend’s wife after her husband leaves her.
Both projects are from Sunswept’s newly debuted TV devision, which is headed by Alex Maggioni. Maggioni, Rosenfelt and Ken Blancato will executive produce both projects.
