An actor on HBO’s fantasy drama “Game of Thrones” gave away something about a particular storyline for season five.
Kristian Nairn, who portrays the addled Hodor on the series, told Australia’s ABC that his storyline — as well as that of a major character — will be taking a hiatus in the show’s fifth season.
“We [Hodor and Bran] have a season off and we have a year’s hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books,” Nairn told the publication.
Bran, played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright, is one of the Stark children. He is carried by Hodor, following a crippling fall. The two characters ended the fourth season by meeting the three-eyed raven and the Children of the Forest, notes The Hollywood Reporter, which adds that HBO declined to comment on Nairn’s remarks.
