Fox is developing an action drama from Basil Iwanyk’s Thunder Road Television and Warner Bros. about female soldiers seeking to become Navy SEALs, reports Deadline.com.

The untitled project, set on Coronado Island, tracks what happens after “the Pentagon unveiled a plan to allow women into the last bastions of male-only combat, the elite Navy SEALs and Army Rangers units,” in 2013, the story adds.

The project is written by Wendy Mericle, the co-executive producer of “Arrow,” and will be overseen by Thunder Road Executive Vice President Kent Kubena, the story adds.
