The veteran producer of a CNN program has left the show, according to a report by the New York Post’s Page Six. The publication reports that Sujata Thomas has exited the weekly public affairs show “Fareed Zakaria GPS.”

Thomas will reportedly be a part of a news venture co-founded by Dan Senor that is set to launch this year. Based in Tel Aviv, the venture will cover “inventors, investors and startups,” the report notes.

“Fareed Zakaria GPS” airs on Sundays on CNN, where it has been running since 2008. The “GPS” in the title stands for “Global Public Square.”

Journalist Zakaria, who also writes a column for The Washington Post, is a veteran of Newsweek and Time.
