A new list based on Nielsen estimates reveals that the cable channel that is in the most U.S. homes is The Weather Channel, TVbytheNumbers.com reports.
Of an estimated 116.4 million total television homes in the country, The Weather Channel is estimated to be in a total of 97.304 million, or 83.6% of all TV homes. That number places it just ahead of the combined CNN/HLN distribution with 97.092 million homes, or 83.4%.
The estimates reflect the number of households that actually receive each channel as of February 2015, according to Nielsen calculations.
