Actress and pop singer Ariana Grande, known for the Nickelodeon shows “Victorious” and “Sam & Cat” and for hit singles including “The Way,” “Bang Bang” and “Break Free,” continues to take flak after video surfaced this week of her licking doughnuts in a doughnut shop and saying, ‘I hate America.’

In a new development, Grande, 22, has publically apologized for the incident for the second time, releasing a four-minute video that you can see below.

Meanwhile, ABC News reports that the incident is being investigated by authorities. However, according to the report, the investigation may be aimed at the doughnut shop, rather than at Grande, with officials concerned about food being left out on a countertop.

Grande, who authorities said appears to “maliciously lick” the doughnuts in the video, has explained her actions as a commentary against unhealthy eating. However, in her new apology video, she distances herself from taking an activist position and appears to take full responsibility for the incident.

  1. I think this is just a tempest in a teapot. I’m sure she doesn’t really hate America, but was just blowing off steam at something that frustrated her at the moment. I know I have been upset with something and gone, I hate this or that too, and I’m certain that the reader of this comment has too. And besides, she’s young and dumb. Cut her some slack; it’s not like she’s trying to join ISIS…
