Following the filing of a police report this week by actress Nicole Eggert accusing her former “Charles in Charge” co-star Scott Baio of sexual abuse, another cast member from the show has come forward with allegations against Baio.

During an appearance by Eggert on “The Talk,” host Sara Gilbert read a statement from actor Alexander Polinsky, who played the brother of Eggert’s character on “Charles in Charge.”

Polinsky says in the statement that the show’s set was “a toxic environment.” The statement also says, in part: “Growing up on the show I received regular verbal attacks, mental abuse and I also suffered a physical assault at the hands of Scott Baio.”
