Actress Nicole Eggert filed a police report Tuesday in connection with her allegations of sexual abuse by her former “Charles in Charge” co-star Scott Baio, which Eggert says occurred when she was a minor.

The Hollywood Reporter quotes a statement today from attorney Lisa Bloom, representing Eggert, which says: “Yesterday Nicole Eggert and I met with two police detectives from the sexual assault unit at my law firm. Nicole answered all of their questions for over an hour and told her story of sexual abuse by Scott Baio when she was a minor. A witness, Alexander Polinsky, appeared as well and told the detectives about inappropriate touching he witnessed, as well as his own allegations of bullying by Scott Baio.”

Authorities confirmed they had the report but did not release details.

Bloom’s statement adds: “We appreciate the Los Angeles police detectives’ interest in this case, and we will fully cooperate with their investigation. Many have reached out to Nicole and me to say that they witnessed inappropriate behavior from Scott Baio when Nicole was underage. We provided a list of those names to the police. If anyone else has information about this matter please contact us.”

  1. Another past the Statute of Limitations hit job…

  2. Baio has always been known as a creep in Hollywood.

  3. Another Hollywood Has been trying to get a double dose of exposure and a payoff …
    – I am launching a new TV program called, “The Hollywood Shuffle” — a feature on
scams like this to milk wealthy people and celebs out of money and to get what
I call, “Pitty Petty Cash” … where was she five or ten years ago to file charges, etc. –
    — its a scam …

  4. @TV Executive… you mean like Weinstein? Everyone knew but no one said anything? You knew but kept it to yourself? Or do you just not like his politics and that makes him a creep? Hell, just about everyone in Hollywood is a creep one way or another.

One more Lisa Bloom attempt to extort the forgotten past. Weird how, when it is happening, so few of these women had the gumption to do anything about it at all, not even tell their parents or anyone. Lets not forget that there are many girls/women who throw themselves at men with fame, money and power in order to further their cause.

  5. On the Nik Richie Radio radio show in 2013, Nicole revealed that she and Scott, who is now 53, started hooking up during filming. “Yeah, there was some flirting, yeah there was some messing around later when I was like 16. And don’t forget, he was in his 20s.”

But she said they didn’t have sex until later. “I was a virgin until I was 17, almost 18 years old.” She didn’t want to go into the virginity thing on the radio, but they pushed, since she’s dated so many famous people. She said she didn’t lose her virginity to “Marky Mark” Wahlberg. He was close, though.

Nicole eventually revealed that Scott was her first time. She was 17 and started dating another guy and didn’t want to be a virgin anymore. “I was embarrassed I was a virgin, so I needed someone to pop the cherry and make me a veteran.” So she basically asked Scott to do the deed. She didn’t even want to go out to dinner with him, she just wanted him for the experience!
