The Mega Millions jackpot climbed to $1 billion today, making it the largest jackpot in the game’s history, The New York Post reports.

“It is the second time a lottery jackpot has reached $1 billion, according to lottery officials. In 2016, Powerball had a $1.5 billion prize,” The Post reports.

The report notes that the cash value of the Mega Millions jackpot is $565.6 million.
