The free streaming service NBC News Now –just five weeks old –has hired its first full-time anchor, reports Todd Spangler at Variety.
The new hire is “Alison Morris, who most recently was with Fox Corp.’s Fox 5 [WNYW] in New York,” the story says.
Spangler adds, “The free, ad-supported over-the-top [NBC News Now] service streams live 3-11 p.m. eastern Monday through Friday. Morris started Monday, July 1, on-air at NBC News Now and is based in New York.”
