"Private Practice" writer-producers Steve Blackman and Craig Turk have been promoted to co-head writers for the ABC drama’s fourth season, reports Nellie Andreeva on Deadline.com.
They’re filling the spots left open by Robert Rovner and Jon Cowan, who departed in March as executive producers and showrunners.
Creator Shonda Rhimes will continue to supervise the show’s creative and production decisions. Both Blackman and Turk joined the show at the start of its second season.
