Bret Michaels, the singer and contestant on NBC’s "Celebrity Apprentice," was released from a Phoenix hospital, less than two weeks after he suffered a brain hemorrhage, People.com reports.

Michaels’ doctor said at a press conference Tuesday that he expects him to make "a 100 percent recovery."

Michaels will continue to have his neurological status monitored for the next few weeks while undergoing physical therapy.

His doctor said that Michaels was walking on his own and "his level of consciousness [has] returned to what we call normal."
