Former talk show host Les Crane died of natural causes Sunday at Marin General Hospital in Marin County, Calif., Daily Variety reports. Crane hosted a number of talk shows on ABC, including “The Les Crane Show” from 1964-65, during which he interviewed the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X and Robert F. Kennedy, the newspaper notes. He was 74.

He also had a spoken word hit in the early 70s with “Desiderata” (You are a child of the universe). Great voice!!
His daughter is such a funny writer. Caprice Crane. I read both of her novels and laughed out loud non-stop. Condolences to her and the rest of her family.
