Online viewing for ABC’s Internet video player grew 50% in May compared with the previous month, Media Daily News reports. Buoyed by the season finales of “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Lost, “Desperate Housewives” and “Ugly Betty,” 815 million minutes of full-length episodes were viewed, according to ABC, the Web site says. However, media agency executives say more research is needed to provide specific and consistent viewing data comparable to TV ratings, the Web site notes.
