Liza Minnelli continued to perform, appearing at an Actors Fund benefit for breast cancer on Monday, even after she had broken her wrist in three places just a day earlier, reports the New York Post’s Page Six.

Doctors had advised her to skip the event, but she went on with the show, which featured her appearing with her half-sister Lorna Luft. It was the first time the two had appeared on stage together since 1993, the piece adds.

Minnelli went to the hospital for surgery after the performance.
