The details of Comcast’s plan to manage its customers’ Web traffic was released today, Reuters reports. The company will use software on its network to determine whether particular subscribers are the source of high volume of Web traffic. Subscribers who are the source will be assigned a lower priority status and could see their traffic delayed if there’s congestion, the news service said. The new traffic management system will be put into effect by the end of December.
