After years of being part of an ensemble cast in “Will & Grace,” Debra Messing shines in USA Network’s “The Starter Wife,” USA Today says. The series, a full-season sequel to last year’s mini-series, features Messing as a recent Hollywood divorcee trying to make it on her own in tinsel town. Messing’s performance as the “glamorous, downtrodden, sexy” Molly is complemented by her supporting cast, including Judy Davis, “one of the best actresses working today,” the newspaper says.
