“The Amazing Race” averaged a 0.40 rating in its first week on GSN, an 11 percent increase over its season-to-date average, the network said Tuesday.

The series averaged a 0.22 rating among adults 18 to 49, for a 69 percent increase. GSN’s median age in “The Amazing Race’s” 9-10 p.m. time slot dropped to 42 from 54.
