The T. Howard Foundation said Tuesday it is officially commencing a search for a new executive director to replace outgoing Curtis Symonds, who is leaving the organization to become chief operating officer of the WNBA Washington Mystics franchise.

The foundation also announced a record-setting number of former T. Howard Foundation interns hired by leading media companies, including Comedy Central, Court TV, ESPN, Oxygen Media and Turner Network Sales.

The T. Howard Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase opportunities for women and minorities in the entertainment media, technology and distribution industries.
