Sci Fi Channel has taken steps to inform “Battlestar Galactica” fans that the show’s first of 10 final episodes will run an extra three and a half minutes long, SciFiWire.com reports. Because the overrun may be cut off for some viewers who DVR the show, Sci Fi has issued the extra alert in addition to making the extra minutes available for streaming online at SciFi.com after the show’s West Coast broadcast, the site says.
