China’s state-run broadcaster CCTV aired President Barack Obama’s inaugural speech although it cut references to communism and dissent, the Hollywood Reporter says. When President Obama said “earlier generations faced down fascism and communism,” the broadcaster cut away and it deleted another reference to dissent, the publication says.
