“Boardwalk Empire,” Martin Scorsese’s drama pilot for HBO about Prohibition-era bootleggers in Atlantic City, has cast Aleksa Palladino, Paul Sparks, Shea Whigham and Anthony Laciura, the Hollywood Reporter says. Meanwhile, Rob Brown has been tapped for the HBO drama pilot “Treme” from David Simon, the Reporter says. Brown will play a New York jazz musician who reluctantly returns to his native New Orleans.
