Tribune Co. Innovation chief Lee Abrams says in a memo that the news anchors at the company’s TV stations are too “plastic” looking, reports the New Times of Broward-Palm Beach, Fla. “Most local TV stations are a parody of themselves,” Abrams says in the memo. “We simply must evolve from the lame, circa 1988 imaging we project.”
