CBS Interactive anticipates a 30% revenue increase in online advertising sold in coverage of this year’s NCAA March Madness basketball tournament, Bloomberg reports. According to CBSSports.com senior VP and general manager Jason Kint, Web revenue is projected to come in at $30 million, compared with $23 million from last year, the news service says. Among the companies advertising in the online tournament coverage are Coca-Cola, AT&T and General Motors, Bloomberg adds.
