Hearst-Argyle Television said it will form a special committee of independent directors to consider a cash tender offer from Hearst Corp. for the shares Hearst Corp. doesn’t already own, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The committee will include Cornerstone Capital President David Pulver and Grey Seal Capital President Caroline L. Williams, the trade paper says.
