Things didn’t go as planned when Jay Leno took a spin in one of the most famous cars from the golden age of drag racing.
Leno went for a ride over the weekend in the Hemi Under Glass, driven by Bob Riggle, in a segment recorded for Leno’s CNBC show “Jay Leno’s Garage.” During the taping at Irwindale Speedway in Southern California, Riggle lost control after a wheelstanding run and rolled the car.
The Hemi Under Glass was a big attraction in the late 1960s and early 1970s, when it was known for running the length of the dragstrip in a full wheelie.
