Time Warner Cable in New York will drop HDNet, owned by billionaire Mark Cuban, the New York Post reports. The drop will mean HDNet will lose 1 million of its 15 million U.S. subscribers after May 31, when HDNet’s contract expires, the newspaper says. The network will be replaced by Smithsonian HD, the tabloid adds.
