A study commissioned by the NBC affiliates board to look at the impact of Jay Leno moving to 10 p.m. indicates good news for broadcast stations’ local news broadcasts, Broadcasting & Cable reports. More than half of viewers in the 25-54 age group said they’re interested in watching the new Leno program, with more than half of those saying they’d likely keep watching the late news afterwards, the trade paper says.
