CBS continues to make changes in its top executive ranks, with the latest move being the promotion of Amy Reisenbach to head of current programming. Deadline.com reports that the move follows the exit last week of Bridget Wiley.
Reisenbach was the No. 2 executive in the current department at CBS and CBS TV Studios, working under Wiley.
“Reisenbach has been promoted to EVP, Current Programs, CBS,” Deadline reports. “She will run the combined current department for both CBS Entertainment and CBS Television Studios, overseeing creative affairs for all scripted series broadcast on CBS, and for CBS TV Studios shows produced for other networks and streaming services.”
Reisenbach will report to David Stapf, president of CBS Television Studios, and Thom Sherman, senior executive VP of programming for CBS Entertainment.
Sherman and Kelly Kahl, the new president of CBS Entertainment, stepped up last week to fill the void left by the exit of CBS Entertainment President Glenn Geller, as we reported previously.
