Comedian Jerry Lewis was said to be recovering after being hospitalized in Las Vegas for a urinary tract infection. The AP reports that Lewis, 91, was taken to the hospital Friday for treatment.
His publicist said Monday that the comedian was doing fine and was expected to be released soon.
Lewis was scheduled to travel later this week to Toronto to work on a movie.
“Lewis has dealt with a variety of health issues in the past, including hospitalizations in 2012 for his blood sugar and in 2011 for being overly tired,” the AP notes.
