Prosecutors want to send Lindsay Lohan back to jail after her community service at a Los Angeles women’s center hit a snag, but the actress appears to have the Probation Department in her corner, TMZ.com reports.

Lohan is due in court today for an examination of her probation situation. Judge Stephanie Sautner is reportedly angry that the Probation Department reassigned Lohan from the women’s center to the Red Cross. The judge pulled the plug on the Red Cross service and ordered the Probation Department to send Lohan to work instead at the morgue.

The story reports: “It’s clearly a sign the judge is pissed off — probably at the Probation Dept. for pulling a switcheroo by taking Lindsay out of the Downtown Women’s Center, where the judge ordered Lindsay to perform 360 hours of community service. Judge Sautner also ordered Lindsay to do 120 hours at the morgue, and now that’s taken top billing.

The TMZ report adds: “Lindsay’s probation officer wrote that Lindsay had problems with the Women’s Center, because it was ‘not fulfilling.’ One more time — Lindsay complained the Woman’s Center was ‘NOT FULFILLING.’"

The Probation Department reportedly is taking the position that Lohan has not violated her probation, while prosecutors are saying she has. The issue is expected to be aired during a court appearance scheduled for 10 a.m. PT today, when prosecutors will seek to send Lohan back to jail.
