The former star of a reality series was released from the hospital Monday following a weeklong stay, with media outlets reporting sometimes conflicting explanations including a brain aneurysm, a drug overdose and a suicide attempt.

According to some accounts, Tila Tequila — the star of MTV’s “Shot at Love With Tila Tequila — suffered an aneurysm, which caused her to “think irrationally” and to ingest “two bottles of unspecified heavy prescription drugs,” Radar Online reports.

A source told Radar: "It was terrifying for Tila and death was knocking at her door.”

The source added: "Tila threw up all over her bed after overdosing and felt like she was dying. She was screaming for help, and in desperation, broke her bedroom window and attempted to jump out."

According to a TMZ.com report, Tequila’s roommate called 911 last Wednesday and reported that Tequila had “tried to kill herself all week.” The 30-year-old Tequila was reportedly “in and out of consciousness in the house” while authorities examined her, and they determined she needed psychiatric help, according to the report.

More drama occurred after her hospital release, according to TMZ, which reported that another 911 call, from Tequila’s manager, came in last night. Tequila reportedly refused to open the door for the responding officers, later placing her own call to 911 to explain that she couldn’t open the door because she was in a wheelchair, the story reports.

TMZ reported that Tequila was thought to be resting at home afterward.

  1. Someone needs to get her to rehab before she ends up like Whitney.
