ABC Takes It Slow for Fall

ABC has yet to pick up any fall drama pilots since the end of the Writers Guild of America strike, the Hollywood Reporter notes. The network, which renewed its freshman drama series “Dirty Sexy Money,” “Private Practice” and “Pushing Daisies,” still plans to order seven hourlong pilots for midseason and has completed a drama pilot from David E. Kelley, “Life on Mars,” based on the hit BBC series.
