Congress this week is likely to rebuke the Federal Communications Commission’s proposal to allow newspapers and broadcasters to acquire each other in the same city, Television Week reports. Senator Byron Dorgan (D-N.D.) has introduced a motion to overturn the proposal that’s been co-sponsored by 13 senators, including Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Barack Obama, the magazine says.
